While I've been meeting folks and sharing my vision for Colorado's future on the campaign trail, my team has emailed a lot this week about our $60,000 goal for the first monthly deadline of the election year, which was last night.

I know you're probably sick of hearing from us, friend, and I get it – but I need you to hear me out one more time: because while we nearly made it, we were still just $1,091 short at the stroke of midnight. 

(If you were one of the many folks who did pitch in, though, I hope you know how incredibly grateful I am to have earned your support.)

But as my top opponents start to rake in serious cash ahead of the election, falling short now would signal that we won't have the resources to seriously compete.

So just this once, I'm extending the deadline until 11:59 p.m. tonight: because if we're going to get ads on the air, win over the undecided voters who will decide this race and keep up this grassroots momentum all the way to the governor's office, we have no choice but to shore up the budget gap ASAP.
