John, I wanted to send you this quick note to say thank you.

I know my team and I were reaching out a lot ahead of our first End-of-Month fundraising deadline of the reelection campaign. And I understand that fundraising emails like these, frankly, aren’t always a joy to see in your inbox.

But I wanted to use this opportunity to share some good news:

Because of the generosity of so many supporters like you, we hit our January goal just a few minutes before midnight.

At a moment when so many eyes were on our campaign — searching high and low for any signs of weakness within Team Shapiro — we didn’t give them a thing. And that’s all thanks to you.

But John, we can’t get ahead of ourselves. Just because we have the momentum in February… doesn’t guarantee we’ll keep it until November. We have to keep working. We have to keep fighting. We need to keep up the good work — and yes, that includes keeping our grassroots fundraising in a good spot.

Listen, if you chipped in ahead of our January fundraising deadline, thank you. But if you didn’t get the chance to donate — and you’re in a position to give now — I’d be extremely grateful to have your support. Because this election is just getting started, and we need to keep our foot on the gas to win it.
