Let me be clear about what’s happening:

But that is exactly what is happening under Kristi Noem as Donald Trump’s DHS Secretary. And far-right Republicans in Congress are cheering her on.

I was raised Christian. My father is a pastor. And real Christianity is not what I’m seeing from Donald Trump’s administration.
Real Christianity is about protecting the vulnerable, welcoming the stranger, and standing with the oppressed.
If Republicans keep their House Majority, they will treat what is happening in Minneapolis and Maine as a blueprint to expand these operations nationwide.
Herbert, I’m running for Congress as a Christian, a Democrat, a gay dad, and a Mainer who believes every family deserves safety and dignity.
