When was the last time you met someone new? Learned a new skill? Put on something other than gym clothes?

⬆️ If this is you, we get it—we're feeling the quarantine drain too.

But don't worry, we're here to help you break out of your funk by taking action, connecting with your NAL family, and learning the skills you need to help people like us win in November!

The first event topic on our list? Expanding the BIPOC electorate! Join us tomorrow at 8PM ET for a conversation with Chuck Rocha, Ghida Dagher, and Alejandra Gomez to learn how we can safely organize, mobilize, and empower our communities during COVID-19. Spaces are filling up quickly, so RSVP now to save your spot!

The Tea on Democracy July

Next week we are excited to kick off Self Care for Womxn Leading the Revolutiona two-part series on self care for womxn of color. We know that between COVID-19, ongoing protests and organizing for justice, and daily stressors, self care is more important than ever for us as individuals and for our movement. Join us on Wednesday, August 5 at 5PM ET for part one of the series and a conversation with New York State Assemblymember Catalina Cruz, Rebecca Dominguez, and Diamellia Williams on the stresses womxn of color face, especially as elected officials and advocates. Then on Friday, August 7 at 5PM ET, join Retha Fernandez and Shana Gladden to learn how you can identify and manage stressors in a healthy way, even with everything going on.

Remember: self care isn't selfish. Sign up to join these key conversations!

Last but not least, on Wednesday, August 12 at 2PM ET, we're excited to partner with Church World Service, one of the nine refugee resettlement agencies in the United States, for a conversation on how refugee leaders are stepping into key roles to create an inclusive democracy and standing up for our communities during COVID-19. Covering everything from local actions and organizing to ongoing campaigns to help make #RefugeesWelcome more than a hashtag, this will be a can't-miss discussion. Be one of our first attendees—sign up today!
