I’ll be honest: I wasn’t planning on reaching out tonight. But my campaign manager just sent me a text… and told me we’re not on track to hit our goal.

I can’t stress this enough: Tonight’s fundraising deadline isn’t just another fundraising deadline. To put it in simple terms, the outcome of this deadline will set the tone for the rest of this election year.

If we miss this goal, it doesn’t only impact our February numbers. It means we have to cut our budget every month from here on out.

Fewer yard signs over the summer. Fewer TV ads in October. Fewer GOTV resources in the final hours of Election Day.

That’s a risk a campaign like ours can’t afford. So I’m humbly asking:
