But today, I want to warn you about something deeply disturbing: Foreign-funded interests are trying to shape Arizona law - and they’re using our ballot system to do it. That’s why I’ve introduced SCR 1010, a constitutional amendment to make one thing absolutely clear: only American citizens should have a say in how Arizona is governed. If you don’t live here, you shouldn’t be influencing how we raise our children, how we run our elections, or what kind of state we leave behind.  This bill: Bans foreign entities from bankrolling Arizona ballot initiatives Closes dangerous legal loopholes that allow international interference in state policy Protects the integrity of our citizen-led process But we didn’t stop there! SCR 1010 also clarifies what qualifies as an impeachable offense — and yes, that includes public officials who refuse to enforce state law. Let me be blunt: we’re seeing too many rogue politicians and agency heads who think they’re above the law - that they can ignore court rulings or rewrite Arizona statutes with the stroke of a pen. Not anymore. This resolution sends a clear message: if you’re elected to uphold Arizona law, you’d better do your job - or the people will remove you.
