Hi John, it’s Angela.

With our end-of-month deadline tonight, I want to be direct. 

Growing up, I learned how fragile stability can be. My father was deported. My mom worked two jobs to keep us afloat and made sure I could stay in school. In times of uncertainty, we had resilience — and a community that showed up when it mattered. 

I’m running because Northeast Los Angeles raised me. I’m running to be the progressive Democrat our community deserves who will fight for working families, not corporate donors. Unlike Jimmy Gomez, I refuse to abandon my people just to cash big checks from Super PACs, corporate lobbyists, or special interests. This choice means I can lead with integrity and stand firmly on human rights, workers, and our Northeast LA community without compromise. 

It also means this campaign depends on people like you. And every hour before midnight matters.
