John, I’ve been thinking about this a lot.

As Congressional Democrats, operating under the rising tide of fascism, I think we’re always grappling with the gap between what we should do versus what we can accomplish while in the minority.

I believe that effective legislative measures to rein in this authoritarian mob require a majority in Congress. And, frankly, I cannot fully rely on my colleagues in the GOP to lend a hand in this fight for a pathetic reason: Republicans in Congress are putting loyalty to Trump above the needs of the American people.

I want to protect our Democratic delegation, stay in this fight for you and the values we share, and support Democrats running for office. All of this work is going to require grassroots funding; even $10 goes a long way right now.
