I wanted to let you in on my decision to run for the US Senate seat in Mississippi.

Folks often look for a moment — every generation faces one. A time when people of good will stand up, defend our values, and fight for what’s right.

THIS is that moment. Our children and grandchildren will ask what we did when our most sacred rights were under attack, and I’ve made the decision to get off the bench, and run for office to make the change that I wanted to see.

I know that I’m not alone. I know that folks across Mississippi are ready to stand up, and I need all of you behind me to build the campaign that we need to win. I made my decision to run for Senate because I know that Mississippi is ready for a change, and I know that we’re ready to fight for our values.

Last quarter, this campaign outraised Cindy Hyde-Smith – but she’s still got a massive fundraising head start. She’s lazy, and we are outworking her. But to keep this pace going, I need your help.
