In just 3 days, AIPAC's August fundraising deadline will come to a close.
I'm writing because we are still $12,814 short of our goal and we could greatly use your help. As I'm sure you know, Israel has faced significant threats in recent weeks:
Aug 27, 2019: Terrorists fired four mortars at Israel from the Gaza Strip. These were in addition to 9 rockets and mortars fired in just over a week
Aug 24, 2019: Israeli warplanes struck targets in Syria where Iran was preparing to attack Israel using “killer drones.”
Aug 23, 2019: A 17-year-old Israeli girl was killed in an explosion while hiking with her father and brother, who were wounded in the attack.
Aug. 16, 2019: Two Israelis, a brother and sister, were critically injured in a car-ramming attack in the West Bank.
Aug. 11, 2019: Israel’s army foiled a potential mass-casualty attack when it killed four Gaza terrorists attempting to cross into Israel. The terrorists were armed with RPG grenade launchers, AK-47 assault rifles, and hand grenades.
These dangers are real. That’s why our work together is critical to keeping Congress educated and engaged on the issues affecting Israel’s safety.
America and Israel need each other now more than ever before. And your support of AIPAC is needed more than ever before.
Together, we must work to keep the special U.S.-Israel alliance strong.
Together, we must ensure America continues to stand by Israel with the critical security assistance needed to keep its citizens safe from growing threats across the Middle East.
Together, we must work to advance the strategic partnership between the United States and Israel, in critical areas of mutual importance like defense, intelligence, homeland security, energy, science and trade.
We must do all of this, so that together we can send a strong message that America and Israel always stand shoulder-to-shoulder.
