Hi Friend, it’s Don Davis. Can I tell you about myself and how I got here?
First, I grew up in the tobacco fields of eastern North Carolina, learning the value of hard work from my grandmother. I went from those fields to the Air Force Academy, served eight years in uniform, and later became the youngest mayor of Snow Hill. I learned that government should lift people up, not push them aside.
Then, eastern North Carolina sent me to Congress. I won, I served, and I won again — each time under a new map that tried to push me out. We’re one month into the election year, and a third map is already changing everything. Republicans redrew the lines, and the attacks are coming harder and faster. But I will not walk away from the community that raised me.
Right now we’re falling behind on our end-of-month goal, and the deadline is at midnight. Last time we did this, it was the most expensive House race in North Carolina — but we won because of supporters like you coming together to fuel our campaign over the finish line.
Can you chip in $10 to help us meet our goal by midnight?
