I wanted to share something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately…

We need to stop seeing others as the problem, and start recognizing that working together is the only way we'll solve anything.

I know that sounds simple. But when you actually do it – when you bring people together – you realize we agree on way more than the 10% the headlines focus on.

We want good jobs that can support our families. We want our kids to get a great education. We want to be able to afford to live in the communities we love. We want leaders who actually show up and do the work. We love the state of Maine.

And once you're there, once you're working from that common ground instead of getting stuck in the noise, you can get a lot done.

I know that might sound idealistic, especially watching what's happening in Washington, but I've seen it work right here in Maine.

That's the kind of leadership I want to bring as governor – leadership that brings people together, finds common ground, and gets things done for Maine families.

Here's the thing: Campaigns like ours – grassroots campaigns built on hope and bringing people together – need to show strong numbers to prove this approach can win.
