This past Saturday, WNBA players walked off the court before the national anthem played and held a moment of silence for 26 seconds. Breonna Taylor was only 26 years old when she was senselessly murdered by Louisville Metro Police Department officers in her own home.
The WNBA has dedicated its entire season to Breonna. It's been 137 days since Breonna's murder, friend, and no arrests or charges have been brought against the Louisville officers responsible for her murder.
Breonna's loved ones and family members are still waiting for justice to be served. The WNBA players are leading in the fight for racial justice, while too many lawmakers remain silent.
