Passing Proposition 50 last year was a major win. It stopped Republicans from locking in control of Congress before a single vote was cast and gave Democrats a real chance to take back the U.S. House.
But we need to be honest with each other: A *chance* is not a victory.
If we don’t organize aggressively to flip seats under these new maps, Republicans will still hold a majority. That’s why we’re urgently asking: Can you pitch in before our January end-of-month deadline to help fund and grow our organizing programs right now? [[link removed]]

But the reality is that Prop 50 cost us time and resources we originally planned to spend building up organizing programs in swing districts much earlier. That means January matters more than usual — it’s when we can make up for lost time.
Every dollar raised this month goes directly toward organizers, voter contact, and infrastructure in districts that just became winnable. Waiting is not an option, and complacency is exactly what Republicans are counting on.
