Standing up to Trump’s authoritarianism. Sounding the alarm as lifesaving climate protections are rolled back. Electing more than 60 climate champions in 2025 — none of that could have been possible without us coming together and choosing action over apathy.

Your contributions support our slate of fearless climate champions who challenge the forces of Big Oil and Big Polluters head-on. And trust me, those forces are deeply entrenched in our political system. The fossil fuel industry spends millions to buy seats, silence voters, and protect its profits at any cost.

Our job is to make sure they don’t win, which is why we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders brave enough to fight for the future — and the planet — we all deserve.

#2: Action really is the best antidote to despair.

I’ve learned this lesson again and again. From fighting for women’s rights, to getting arrested multiple times in my life, to helping our climate champions take back entire bodies of government from dirty corporations.

Overwhelm is an understandable feeling, given what’s happening in our country. But taking action — large or small! — helps each one of us to stave off the exhaustion and despair this administration wants us to feel.

Trump and his MAGA cronies are trying to grind us down until we give up. But together, we can deny them that victory.
