A few weeks ago, we had a crazy idea.
In a few weeks, my new book comes out. It's called "Young Man in a Hurry." It's a good book. Very personal. Not your normal political book at all. But of course, there will be a bunch of political stories you'll enjoy. I think you'd like it.
At the same time, we just spent a bunch of money on passing Prop 50, so now I need to refill the coffers at my Campaign for Democracy for the fights ahead ... and heaven knows there are many fights ahead.
So we said if you make a contribution of ANY AMOUNT, I'll send you a copy of my new book.
Tomorrow night at midnight, we're going to wrap-up this idea and start getting the books out before the end of the month. So this is the last call.
The average cost per book is $22.45 including shipping. If you can give that, great. If you can only give $5, great. If you want to cover the cost for a few folks who can only give a few bucks, great. But this is the absolute last time we're going to do this before the book is public.
