Trump wants access to voter rolls and records so he can manipulate and distort the truth about our elections. The goal? He chooses who can vote and determines the election outcome before a single vote is cast.

Fulton County is home to roughly a million people, the majority of them Black, Latino, Asian, and immigrant. It’s clear Trump doesn’t just want his masked ICE agents to harass people of color on the streets; he wants to completely disenfranchise them at the ballot box, too.

In Step 10 of the 10 Steps to Autocracy and Authoritarianism, people are still allowed to show up and cast ballots, but decisions will already have been made long before Election Day – about whose vote is counted and whose is quietly discarded.

Once that line is crossed, elections can remain technically “free” while no longer being fair – because the outcomes would always favor Trump and his Republican Party.
