I’m reaching out today to ask you to split a contribution between me and Joe Biden. But first, let me explain why.

Donald Trump doesn’t possess any of the integrity or compassion that we demand from our leaders. It’s something that’s become very clear during these past few months as our nation deals with an unprecedented public health crisis and its economic fallout.

Trump has just one concern: His own reelection — and he doesn’t care what the outcome is for working Americans as long as he’s able to secure a second term.

Joe Biden on the other hand is a lifelong public servant, a compassionate leader, and a dear friend — he’s a candidate who I know has the character and values befitting of a president.

And like me, Joe is for the people. I’ve seen first-hand his compassion and dedication to public service. He’ll be a president for all of us, and that’s why I’m giving everything I’ve got to help him succeed this year.

This country cannot afford another four years of Donald Trump’s failed leadership. We need to elect Joe and in order to do that he needs our help to hit his fundraising goals, which is why I have to ask:

If you are able, will you split a donation between Joe and I before our big end-of-month fundraising deadlines on Friday night? Together, we will work to elect Joe and make sure Donald Trump stays a one-term president.
