Let’s be honest: the news is terrifying right now.

Watching a paramilitary force roam American streets, snatching neighbors from cars and using Gestapo tactics in cities like Minneapolis, is enough to make anyone feel powerless. It is infuriating to watch the cowards in the GOP roll over while Trump and his goons shred the Constitution in real time.

It feels like nothing is happening to truly stop them. But that is exactly what they want you to feel. They want you to believe that resistance is futile and that their power is absolute.

They are wrong.

Talking about elections when a wannabe dictator is taking this much power may sound absurd, but when we take back the House this November, the era of lawlessness ends. We will have the power to:

• Launch real investigations into the architects of this terror, like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem.
• Conduct aggressive oversight of ICE and DHS to expose their crimes.
• Use the power of the purse to defund the agencies that have turned into Trump’s private army.

This is the mission. We need to support dozens of candidates across the country to ensure a Blue Wave so massive that Trump’s destruction of America is stopped cold.
