I wanted to catch you before you start your Saturday to ask you a quick but important question: tonight is our End-of-Month fundraising deadline, and as the new Chair of the DGA, I need your help to make sure we meet our fundraising goal for the first month of a critical year. Will you please chip in anything you can by midnight tonight to help us elect Dem govs?

As new Chair of the DGA, I’ve been hard at work ensuring that the DGA has the resources it needs to not only hit the ground running in the new year – but also end it strong by winning our 36 gov races this November.

After historic victories in Virginia and New Jersey, we’re on offense: clearly, Americans have learned that when Trump attacks, they can count on Dem govs to fight back. But with 80% of Americans casting their vote for governor this year – and a real chance to expand our blue firewall, even in red states just like mine – we must remain clear-eyed about what Donald Trump and Republicans are ready to throw at us.

As a second-term governor, Andy Beshear has a long record of accomplishments. He restored voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the three best economic development years on record, and had the lowest unemployment rate in state history. He won his first election for governor by just 5,136 votes and his second by 5 percentage points because Kentuckians and folks across the country know that he will work every day to make Americans’ lives better – from jobs to infrastructure, health care, public education, and so much more.
Now, as our DGA Chair in 2026, he will continue to fight for progress by electing Democratic governors across the country.
