This year, Emerge New Mexico turns 20 — and we’re celebrating a huge milestone: New Mexico now has the largest female legislative majority in the country.
This is not just a number — it’s the result of years of organizing, training, and building trust in the leadership of women and non-binary people across the state.
Thirty of the thirty-three Democratic women in the NM House and seven of eleven in the NM Senate are Emerge alums.
We’re not just reflecting on the past. We’re building what’s next. And we’re so grateful you’re in this with us.
