After one full year of Trump's second administration, our government's separation of powers is almost entirely destroyed:
The Supreme Court is packed with MAGA justices who are rewriting history and stealing rights away from Americans. The Congress is full of rubber-stamp Republicans who refuse to stand up for working families. The President has lost his mind—threatening to take over Greenland, actually putting boots on the ground in South America without permission, and trouncing over our constitutional rights.
I'm fighting hard in Congress to right these wrongs with the Bivens and Constitutional Accountability Acts that would:
1️⃣ Allow citizens to recover damages for constitutional violations by federal officials and
2️⃣ Hold law enforcement agencies and police departments accountable for unconstitutional conduct by their officers
But we need a majority to pass them—and our next chance to take it is this election.
Our district will be key in not only sending me back to Congress, but sending Democrats up and down the ballot to offices that play key roles in stopping the Trump agenda.
