A Simple Valentine's Day Card is a Sweet Gesture That Means More Than You Think

Hi everyone,
With Valentine’s Day coming up, I wanted to share a couple of simple ways you can support Service Members and Veterans this month.
For many Service Members and Veterans, Valentine’s Day can be quiet and lonely. A handmade or store-bought Valentine may seem small, but it can be a meaningful reminder that someone is thinking of them and appreciates their service.
There’s still time to participate in Valentines for Veterans. If you’re able, please send your cards soon and include $1 per card to help cover shipping costs.
Mail cards to:

If cards aren’t your thing, Warm Feet for Warriors also kicks off tomorrow.
Each year, we collect tens of thousands of pairs of socks for deployed Service Members and Veterans in need. Socks continue to be one of the most requested items by VA hospitals, homeless Veteran shelters, and deployed units. A new pair of socks can provide comfort in a very practical way.
If you’d like to help, you can:
Donate new socks (all sizes and colors are welcome)
Host a sock drive at work, school, or with a community group
Share the campaign with others who may want to participate
You can find more details about Warm Feet for Warriors here. [[link removed]]
Whether you choose to send a Valentine, donate socks, or help spread the word, thank you for continuing to support the men and women who have served.
With gratitude,
Amy Palmer | President & CEO
P.S.— This year we extended the deadline for Warm Feet for Warriors to April 30th to ensure we can collect enough socks! Let's kick off this campaign and make it the best year yet!
