Our newest endorsement, Sacramento Councilmember Mai Vang, has spent her life fighting for working families. Now, she’s running to transform a Congress that protects politicians into one that protects the people.
Mai’s opponent has spent the last two decades in Congress:
❌ Raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars in corporate PAC checks; nearly half of her campaign’s fundraising is from corporate PACs.
❌ Taking checks from AIPAC while voting to enable Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.
❌ Doing little to nothing to defend her community against ICE or Trump’s authoritarianism.
Mai, on the other hand:
✅ Refuses contributions from corporate PACs and billionaires, because her campaign is truly people-powered.
✅ Rejects AIPAC, supports Palestinian human rights and self-determination, and led the passing of a ceasefire resolution on Sacramento’s city council.
✅ Organized 100 people to show up to the City Council meeting just this week to demand better protections for immigrants, develop a plan to prepare for ICE raids, and pass bans on ICE’s presence in the city.
The choice is clear. This upcoming Democratic primary in CA-07 is our chance to replace the corporate-backed status quo with a working-class, progressive champion with the will to usher in real, positive change while taking on Trump.
