In March, Illinois voters will go to the polls in the primary election. This is one of the earliest primaries in the country, and our chance to set the tone.

With only a few seats separating House control, November is Democrats’ golden opportunity to win the majority and serve as a much-needed check on the MAGA agenda.

This seat could be the difference. I flipped IL-13 in 2022 from red to blue in an extremely competitive race. Since then, national Republicans have looked to flip it back -- it’s why I’m facing multiple GOP challengers.

I’m fighting for accountability from the Trump Administration every day in Congress, working to bring back real results for working families, and staying grounded in what I was elected to do -- represent Central and Southern Illinois.
