One year ago, a terrified kitty found her forever home. Today, she's thriving.

Dear Jack,

?

"Boy, was she terrified when she first got here."

?

That's how Laurel described Manuka, now called Ruby, when she first arrived at her new home exactly one year ago. It took time for Ruby to warm up to her new family. She wasn't an instant lap cat. But love has a way of healing, doesn't it?

?

Today, Ruby loves being brushed, having her butt patted, and watching squirrels and birds from the windows. She plays with toy mice and prefers seafood over chicken. When her dad plays guitar, she jumps up to rub her head against his hand, feeling the vibration of the strings.

?

Laurel's message to us was simple but powerful: "We'd like to thank you for taking good care of her until she found us, her forever home."

?

This is why we do what we do. We provide the care, patience, and love animals need while they wait for their perfect match. We never give up on them, even when they're scared or uncertain.

Your support makes stories like Ruby's possible. Thank you for believing in second chances.

With gratitude,
