This deadline is important for many reasons. It’s our first of the election year, but most importantly, it’s our chance to show Trump and his MAGA cronies that their retribution campaign and attacks against me haven’t slowed us down. We are stronger than ever.

Toward the end of last year, Trump and Pete Hegseth launched a baseless investigation into me after I demanded transparency from his call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It was an attempt to silence me and suppress the truth from the American people.

He thought this investigation would shake this grassroots team or stall our momentum. You and I both know, as long as we stand together, it won’t.

You know the truth. You’ve seen this administration’s corruption and disregard for democracy firsthand. You’ve seen them attack and kill civilians in Minnesota. You’ve seen them cut healthcare and food benefits for children to fund tax breaks for billionaires. And now you’re seeing them baselessly investigate me as another political ploy to get revenge on me for blowing the whistle on him over six years ago.

But, John, as long as I am in Congress, I will never stop fighting back or holding Trump accountable. I wasn’t afraid six years ago, and I’m not afraid now.

But this fight won’t be easy. I need you with me to fend off these baseless attacks.
