Good morning. I’m up with the roosters this fine morning because between legislative business, constituent assistance, and campaign demands, duty calls.

It won’t surprise you to know that between extreme weather events, federal agitators on our streets, the still-unreleased Epstein files, major House votes on ICE funding, MAGA warmongering in Venezuela and Greenland, and a news cycle that’s moving faster than Usain Bolt, fundraising hasn’t been top of mind for me this month.

Now, the chickens are coming home to roost.

The fact remains that running a campaign costs a pretty penny, and I'm not counting on Big Crypto or Big Oil to write me a big ol’ check.

I typically don’t count my eggs before they hatch, but this team has always had my back in challenging moments like this. I'm hopeful that history will repeat itself before midnight.
