Voices Against Trafficking will host its international human rights forum tomorrow, July 29, 2020 11:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT (UTC-4) which will live stream via Facebook/VoicesAgainstTrafficking and also on YouTube. Enough Is Enough (EIE) is a charter member of Voices Against Trafficking.
Human trafficking is the world’s fastest growing multibillion-dollar criminal industry. This vast transnational criminal enterprise is the greatest exploitation of men, women and children in the world. It is evil. These victims are in dire, life threatening situations without hope.
Voices Against Trafficking will feature leading national and international human rights activists to share details on many aspects of the current state of human trafficking. Voices Against Trafficking speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Tune in when you can to hear from a host of speakers that include Members of Congress, Victims Right Advocates, Nonprofits, Law Enforcement Experts, and Survivors of trafficking.
EIE President Donna Rice Hughes will share the links between unregulated hard-core porn, child pornography and sex trafficking, and the pivotal role the Internet plays in these insidious multi-billion dollar industries. Dr. Jill Manning, a licensed marriage and family therapist and member of Enough Is Enough's board of directors, will provide an overview on betrayal trauma, its common causes and associated symptoms.
Donna is scheduled to speak at 11:48 am EDT, and Dr. Manning at 2:32 pm EDT, but you might want to tune in a few minutes earlier just in case the schedule is running a bit off due to the large lineup of speakers.
