August 28, 2019
Dear John,
Over the August work period, I’ve traveled across the 32nd District listening to you and hearing about issues important to North Texans. I will always fight for North Texas values, and listening to my constituents is the most important part of my job, which is why I was grateful to hear from so many of you this month.
At the beginning of the work period I traveled to Ohio as part of a bipartisan district visit with Republican Representative Anthony Gonzalez (OH-16). We toured a manufacturing business, met with local veterans, and held a bipartisan town hall. I look forward to hosting him in North Texas soon.
And earlier this month, we had a productive and informative town hall at the Garland Senior Center. From fixing our broken immigration system to protecting Social Security to lowering health care costs, North Texans asked thoughtful questions about my work in Congress for the 32nd District.

In Wylie, I sat down with Mayor Eric Hogue to learn more about the new projects happening around the city. I also spoke to the Wylie Rotary Club, and toured a pharmacy to see first hand how they serve our community and the programs and services they offer, like vaccinations.

During the work period, I also visited Dean Foods and Mitchell Enterprises, two companies headquartered here in the 32nd District of Texas that serve consumers across the nation. Additionally, I spoke to business leaders at the Garland Chamber of Commerce, and participated in bipartisan forums at the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce to discuss issues like trade and infrastructure.

I look forward to more events we have coming up this summer, and please know that my office is always here to answer your questions and help with any issues you have with federal agencies.
If you would like to contact my office, please send an email, or call my office at 972-972-7949. I also invite you to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram so you can keep up with the work I am doing for North Texans and other upcoming events. .
Sincerely,
Colin Allred Member of Congress
