Building An Arizona We Can Afford
It's hard to believe this much time has gone by since my very first swearing-in (pictured above), but on January 12, 2026, I was sworn in for my 4th session!
We've already gotten off to quite a start with over 1,627 bills introduced. Long committee hearings have begun, with all the bills Governor Hobbs is going to veto.
Democrats are working to bring costs down, make healthcare accessible, and are fighting for an equitable education for ALL Arizonans.
From repealing the 1864 Abortion Ban and funding the Division of Developmental Disabilities, to stopping some really harmful bills, we've accomplished a lot.
But there's still more work to be done. Reining in ESA voucher fraud, working to reduce everyday living costs, and making childcare and healthcare more affordable are just a few of our priorities.
This year, I've introduced bills to protect small business owners from private equity, make voter registration easier for those who are legally eligible to vote in elections, expand opportunities for veterans, ensure the Civil Rights Advisory Board that protects our citizens can continue to do so, and I'm working to expand Arizona's economic opportunities.
