It's no exaggeration to say that what happens between today and the midterm elections — nine months and four days, to be exact — will have a lasting impact on the future of representative democracy in America. In the year since Donald Trump took office, the White House and its state-level allies have made it clear that they will stop at nothing to tilt the playing field to benefit Republicans. The NDR PAC is preparing for major grassroots investments across the country as more states make moves toward mid-decade redraws — and by our math, we need 212 donations before the end of the month to meet our January budget goal. Will you chip in today?

Gov. Ron DeSantis is calling a special legislative session to force a new map on the people of Florida — which already has one of the most gerrymandered congressional maps in the country. GOP officials in Missouri have been working overtime to undermine a ballot initiative that would prevent them from using a new gerrymandered map. And we’re on high alert for an upcoming Supreme Court ruling that could undo a half-century of voting rights progress.
