Hi John, it’s Angela.

Like many people, I can’t get through my days without a fresh cup of coffee. It’s an important part of my daily routine, and after so many pours, I’ve learned a lot about what roasts, flavors, and ingredients really make for the best brew.

So, I wanted to share my ideal recipe:

This is the energy I’m running on in this race. And I’m ready to fill everyone’s cup in Northeast Los Angeles.

Much like my coffee recipe, this campaign prioritizes my community. I know that the energy of campaigns come from the people, not from corporations — which is why I’m not afraid to refuse big checks that don’t align with my values. Choosing to reject help from Super PACs, corporate lobbyists, and special interests, I can stand firmly with my community without concessions.
