Go Further fights to end cervical cancer among women in Africa
This Cervical Cancer Awareness month, we celebrate the more than 10 million screenings ([link removed]) completed to date because of the Bush Institute’s Go Further partnership with the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and UNAIDS. Designed to end AIDS and cervical cancer in sub-Saharan Africa within a generation, Go Further has supported first-time screenings for almost 7 million women, and more than 421,000 have received lifesaving treatment for precancerous lesions.
