John,
Last night, Keith joined Jen Psaki to talk about what’s happening in Minnesota — and the real reason ICE agents were deployed to our state.
Here’s what he told her: the Trump administration might be changing their rhetoric, but Minnesotans haven’t seen material changes. Thousands of ICE agents are still occupying our communities, and they haven’t stopped using intimidation and brutal tactics.
Now, Trump’s Attorney General says they’ll only reduce the number of federal agents in Minnesota if we hand over our voter registration records. The Trump administration wants us to give up our sovereignty and adopt their extreme policies, even if they violate our laws and aren’t what Minnesotans want.
Keith’s response is simple: “I’ll see you in court.”
Keith will not hand over sensitive voter information — or anything else the federal government is not absolutely and explicitly legally entitled to.
Keith won’t give a single inch. But standing up to Trump takes resources. To keep pushing back, our campaign needs to meet our first fundraising goal of the year.
Will you chip in $10, $25, $50, or whatever amount is meaningful to you before the end-of-month deadline tomorrow?
