We’re bringing camp to kids—in their own homes!
Supporter,
I have one of the best jobs at the American Diabetes Association® (ADA)—every summer, I get to work hand in hand with the dedicated volunteers, staff and community members who come together to give children with diabetes a life-changing summer camp experience.
You can imagine how devastated we were when COVID-19 made our traditional in-person summer camps impossible this summer.
Our team came together and found a new way to support our campers and their parents and provide the experience they’ve come to expect—and that is ADA Imagine Camp.
“During a difficult pandemic summer when all of my child’s activities have been cancelled due to Covid-19, it has been so nice for my son to have weekly Camp Zoom calls to look forward to with his counselors and cabin-mates. Imagine Camp has allowed [him] to bond with other T1Ds across the country he would otherwise never meet.”
As you know, ADA Camps are an important way we help children with diabetes—check out this short video of Erin, an ADA staff member and former camper, sharing how important our camps are.
Will you help us continue to meet our mission and fund innovative programs for children with diabetes and their families?

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support—for our mission, and for all of our programs that help those living with diabetes thrive.
Thank you,
Kelly Mueller Vice President of Community Impact American Diabetes Association #ConnectedForLife.
