Team, last week, I stood in the People’s House and delivered my third State of the Commonwealth address.

I spoke about the story of Massachusetts, and how 250 years ago, everyday people in our cities and towns brought a new nation — and a new idea of freedom — into the world.

Today, our country faces new tests from President Trump and Republicans in Congress. But once again, Massachusetts is leading. Because we believe freedom and progress today means something real and tangible:

🔲 The freedom for every family to afford a home and the things they need.

🔲 The freedom for every child to have pathways to a bright future.

🔲 The freedom for every community to be safe, connected, and full of opportunity.

That’s what we’re working for. And once again, it begins here, in Massachusetts.

So let’s kindle those sparks of patriotic fire. Let’s light the beacon. And together, let’s show the way forward once again.
