We’ll be blunt: January marks the third month in a row that Our Revolution’s fundraising is down. If we don’t close this gap now, we’ll have to make impossible choices – just as Trump’s assaults on our communities are escalating.
Our team is stretched thin as we rise to meet this moment. Our grassroots team is organizing mass mobilizations, coordinating mutual aid, and running neighborhood patrols to protect our communities from ICE. We’re rapidly scaling up our work to take on the oligarchs. And we’re firing up our powerful GOTV machine for primaries that are just weeks away to get the bold leaders we need in office to make lasting change.
But the truth is if we don’t close this gap, we’re going to need to scale back. So we set an urgent goal of $12,930 to power our grassroots resistance before the end of the month.

We know what the other side wants. They want us to stop showing up. They want Our Revolution to be silenced, under-resourced, and – eventually – gone. We know that because we’re facing coordinated attacks from the far-right, with Fox News Radio calling us “Bernie Sanders’ Gestapo,” Breitbart publishing hit pieces, and MAGA senators pushing legislation to go after organizers.
These tactics to silence us will not work. Bernie founded us in 2016 with a mission, and we won’t back down.
But the truth is our grassroots organizing, targeted activism, and election work costs money. And it’s all built on small-dollar donations. We do not have billionaires or corporate PACs in our corner. We have each other. And right now, we need every single one of us to step up.
Falling thousands of dollars short could mean we’re forced to scale back where we’re needed most. It could mean fewer folks on the street protecting our neighbors. It could mean fewer doors knocked to get out the vote in the midterms. But if enough people rush an urgent donation now we’ll be able to step into this moment head on to stop Trump – together.
