The Trump agenda is exhausting by design, and Americans are tired.

Every day, we're forced to keep up with a new headline, a new tragedy, a new threat — all while trying to live our lives, do our jobs, and take care of our families.

Nothing is off limits.

Trump is cutting guaranteed, already-spent funding for states including Kentucky; he is using the Department of Justice as a political weapon, prioritizing personal vendettas over the needs of everyday people; and he is dispatching federal agents across the country to terrorize communities and sow chaos.

And Republicans up and down the ballot are doing nothing to stop it — even when these actions hurt their own constituents back home.

John, people are tired of the circus, but if Republicans keep control of Congress for two more years, this chaos will continue to be the norm, and Americans will be completely worn down by a government that doesn't listen and doesn't care. We should be able to trust our leaders. We should feel confident that our government is working for us, not against us, so we can get up, go to work, raise our families, and believe that someone in Washington has our backs.
