This week, my team and I watched the IL-17 Republican forum between my two opponents (so you don’t have to).

If we needed another reminder, their victories would be disastrous for our district.

* After the murders of our neighbors in the past two weeks, they are even more committed to bring full, unchecked force into our district -- both say they back ICE as-is, "100 percent."

* They also came out pro-tariff and pro coal -- even as small businesses are shuttering and our district remains one of the leaders in alternative energy.

* And surprise surprise, they came out “100 percent” against reproductive freedom.

They are completely out of touch with our community, but the fact is IL-17 is listed as the single most vulnerable Democratic-held seat in the state. National Republicans will be sparing no expense, rallying behind whoever their far-right nominee is.
