As assaults on human dignity unfold in Minnesota and across the country, it is consoling to see the response of Catholic communities.

Thousands of Catholics gathered virtually ([link removed]) days after the killing of Alex Pretti, hearing testimonies from Catholic Minnesotans and reflections from various bishops. This impromptu, Spirit-led vigil coincided with the annual gathering of the Jesuit Migration Network in Miami, FL ([link removed]) . As part of that gathering, delegates attended the Mass, procession, and prayer service in front of immigration court that Miami Catholics organized to show solidarity and support for immigrants ([link removed]) navigating an increasingly hostile and uncertain immigration system.

As individuals and communities respond to Pope Leo's pleas for peace and Catholic leaders' rebuke of the Trump administration's policies, we encourage you to explore these five ways Catholics can be peacemakers ([link removed]) in times like these.
