John, here’s what I can say about my boss: Mary Gay is an unapologetic badass. Period, end of email.
HA kidding. (Although if that does it for you and you want to chip in now, I won’t stop you.)
But stay with me. She regularly holds the Trump administration accountable in the media (where you just know he sees it) and as ranking Dem on one of his least favorite House committees (judiciary, go figure). She also gives a damn about her neighbors, she organizes for frontline Democrats everywhere, and she fights like hell for the values we believe in — our rights, our security, our families, and our democracy.
That kind of leadership doesn’t sit well with Trump and his enablers in Congress. And you know what? GOOD. It shouldn’t. Because it’s the kind of leadership that’s going to break through the MAGA haze for good, and the clock is ticking.
Speaking of the ticking clock, here’s what I can’t say about her end-of-month fundraising deadline: I can’t say $10 will fix everything or change the world today, all in one go, but I can say it will help win elections in PA and keep a badass like Mary Gay working for you.
Let’s be clear, Trump’s GOP is dangerous. From ICE killings to Medicaid and SNAP cuts to threats to our global allies to the absolute cratering of human decency, we won’t be paralyzed by what’s happening. Together, we can fight back, take power from the tyrant in office, and change our future.
