Tomorrow is the last day of our January fundraising push, and we're not where we need to be. Here's what's at stake: January dollars fund three vital processes that work together:

1. Texting finds potential Democratic candidates
2. Grants give county parties the resources to organize year-round
3. Staff time ensures we follow up quickly while our recruits are still interested

When potential candidates get clear guidance and real support right away, they're far more likely to file to run, and far more likely to stay engaged for future races.

If we fall short, the impact is immediate: fewer statewide recruitment launches, less outreach, slower responses, and more blank spots on the ballot heading into the 2026 midterms.

And when communities don’t see Democratic candidates on their ballot at the local level, turnout drops, hurting Democrats up and down the ticket.
