THE HILL: GOP senator blames Hispanics for their high rate of coronavirus cases and deaths

I’m humbly asking: Will you donate $5 to my Democratic campaign?

Instead of thanking the essential workers keeping America fed, Republican lawmakers are making racist accusations:

THE HILL:
GOP senator blames Hispanics for their high rate of coronavirus cases and deaths

It is true that the Hispanic community, my community, is being disproportionately affected by COVID-19.

I worked at a meat packing company.

I know firsthand what it means to be an essential worker.

In large numbers, members of the Hispanic community are harvesting crops, preparing meat and packaging the food this country needs.

They are doing it at barely minimum wage and going home to big families under one roof because that is all they can afford.

And they are suffering the consequences of Trump and the GOP’s disgusting inaction in the face of COVID-19.

I refuse to accept this status quo. I’m fighting in Congress every day for the working people of this country. I need to raise $6,790 in the next 24 hours or risk being crushed by special interests and dark money. So I’m asking, can you chip in and join me in this fight?

His #1 priority is electing Democrats up and down the ballot in Arizona in 2020 -- our best chance to flip this state blue in decades.

We know you're getting a lot of emails -- but it's because flipping Arizona blue is going to take a massive grassroots campaign.

We need to educate, empower, and register thousands of new Democrats. We need to make sure everyone knows there's more at stake than just the presidency. We need to turn out every voter in every corner of this state.

And we need your help to do it.
