But before I do, let me explain why. I know I owe you that much.

So, here’s the truth.

Times like these aren’t easy, but they show who you can really count on.

I’ll do whatever I can to stop Trump from tearing our nation apart, and I’d do it on my own if I had to. But over the past several weeks and months, I think we’ve all learned that we’re far from alone. There are millions of us, and together we can make a real difference.

I’ve seen it in the wave of support you sent my way after Trump and Hegseth started threatening me. We’ve all seen it in the people making a stand for our country. And I am here to tell you: You can count on me to do my part.

That means stopping Republicans in Congress from giving Trump’s Department of Homeland Security a blank check and voting against their budget this week.

It means suing Pete Hegseth for trying to silence me and for chilling retired veterans' right to free speech along the way.

It means traveling the country supporting the candidates we need to win back the House and Senate because electing more Democrats is the single most important thing we can do to stop Trump’s agenda. But I need your help to do it.
