Learn About Fisheries Management In Green Bay And Marinette And Oconto Counties
GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reminds the public of the fisheries management meetings set to occur online and in person on Monday, Feb. 2 and Tuesday, Feb. 3.
Join DNR staff Monday, Feb. 2, online or in person at the DNR’s Green Bay Service Center for a presentation on Green Bay walleye management, including updated results from the large walleye reward tag study, the size and age structure of spring adult spawning populations and results from fall walleye recruitment surveys.
Another meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, online or in person at the DNR’s Green Bay Service Center. This meeting will cover the trout habitat improvement evaluations in Marinette and Oconto counties, where habitat improvement projects, population trends and management actions for the South Branch Oconto, First South Branch Oconto and North Branch Beaver creeks will be discussed.
These meetings allow the public to learn about game fish management and meet the DNR fisheries staff members working across Wisconsin.
