2026 DFPS Annual Plan Now Available



Today, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) published its annual plan, "Empowering, Strengthening, and Supporting Families". [ [link removed] ] This plan provides a strategic framework that guides and prioritizes agency work throughout the year. It outlines key initiatives and goals, while also highlighting the progress and accomplishments achieved in 2025. This plan supports continued efforts to partner with communities in protecting Texas's most vulnerable populations.
