One week.
Seven days.
168 hours.
John, you get the picture:
Our election is that close.
Every single thing we do these next few days has the potential to make or break our election.
I’ve been pitching in on the phones calling voters, raising money, and working with my staff to put the final touches on our last get out the vote efforts.
In the middle of it all, I found a quiet moment this morning to cast my own ballot:
It was a humbling experience, and made me think about everything you’ve done for this campaign so far. Thank you.
But we’ve still got so much work to do.
My campaign manager Spencer told me this morning we’re still a bit short on what we need to go into this week strong: $11,879.
I know you’ve already given so much to our campaign. Do you think you could chip in $3 today? We’ll put your contribution right to work as we talk to more voters.
COVID-19 has changed how we run this campaign. As much as I’d love to be out knocking doors and doing events, you won’t see us doing that.
But you may get a call or text from one of our grassroots volunteers, and if you chip in today, you can help our team reach even more voters in our community. Every conversation counts in this final sprint.
This our last big fundraising deadline before Election Day. Rush in a contribution of $3 today.
Thanks,
Phil Gardner

Phil Gardner served as the District Director for Congressman Rep. Denny Heck in Washington's 10th District. Now, he's running to replace Denny in order to continue fighting for the people of the South Sound and our shared progressive values. If elected, Phil would make history as Washington state’s first openly LGBT Member of Congress.
