Dear Actors Fund Community,
Our Healing Group for Black-identified Entertainment Professionals launched last week, and we’re looking forward to kicking off this week’s group for Non-Black People of Color in the performing arts and entertainment community.
To expand upon our work that supports the unique needs of our performing arts and entertainment community, The Actors Fund created a Healing Group for Non-Black People of Color entertainment professionals as a space to affirm experiences and discuss the impact of racial injustice within the entertainment industry and community as a whole. This group will help participants process disproportionate ways Covid-19 has affected non-white communities, and provide support and resources for each other while fostering restorative dialog and compassion.
This group will meet virtually every other week for eight weeks, on Thursdays from 3-4:30 pm ET. A preliminary interview is required. Participants must be New York State residents and must be able to attend all eight sessions.
The Healing with The Actors Fund Group for Non-Black People of Color Entertainment Professionals begins this Thursday, July 30. Learn more and request an interview.
Wishing you health and wellness,
The Actors Fund
