"Carrying Capacity" film premieres

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department, in collaboration with partners, *has released the film "Carrying Capacity: The Hunt for Resilience" online. [ [link removed] ] *The film became available Jan. 19. The film explores the complexities of bighorn sheep management, leaning on examples from two Wyoming bighorn sheep populations — the Jackson Herd and the Ferris-Seminoe Herd.






Be mindful of changing ice conditions

*Unsafe and inconsistent ice conditions across southwest Wyoming have impacted several winter fishing events this season. [ [link removed] ] *Game and Fish would like to remind winter anglers to stay up-to-date on current ice conditions, and keep an eye out for alternative winter fishing opportunities.

Effective Jan. 31, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will *retire the Sage-Grouse Local Working Groups [ [link removed] ]*, marking a new chapter in conservation efforts that began in 2004.
